Every hospital has a behavioral health story to tell, and data is what makes that story credible, fundable, and actionable. This webinar will help Critical Access Hospitals identify practical data sources they can use to describe behavioral health needs, demonstrate program value, strengthen grant applications, and communicate outcomes to internal and external audiences. Participants will explore how existing tools, such as HCAHPS, screening data, quality measures, claims data, and local community data, can support a stronger behavioral health narrative. The session will also highlight practical examples from hospitals of collecting, tracking, and using data to tell a compelling story of need, impact, and opportunity.
This webinar is designed for Critical Access Hospital leaders and staff involved in behavioral health planning, grant development, community health initiatives, quality improvement, population health, and rural health strategy.
  • Identify existing hospital and community data sources that can help describe behavioral health needs, services, and outcomes.
  • Explain how behavioral health data can be used to strengthen grant applications, community reporting, and stakeholder communication.
  • Describe practical strategies for turning data into a clear behavioral health impact story for different audiences, including funders, hospital leaders, community partners, and patients.
