The worksheet helps hospitals determine whether a funding opportunity is a good fit by evaluating eligibility, strategic alignment, feasibility, timeline, and reporting requirements.<br /><br />Kami also recommended building “grant folders” with ready-to-use organizational materials, creating rapid-response files with approved language, maintaining community partnership letters, and assigning clear internal roles for opportunity scanning, content development, finance review, and executive approval. She stressed the importance of collecting needs statements from meetings, reports, incident data, and community feedback, then turning them into strong, data-supported grant narratives.<br /><br />Finally, the presenters emphasized that successful grant work depends on organization, collaboration, innovative thinking, and integrating reporting into daily operations so hospitals can sustain funding efforts over time.
